Odd Nosdam's latest release stems from an Element Skateboards video. His experimental hip-hop a la RJD2 pulls samples from everywhere, covering everything from ethereal soundscapes to fuzzed-up guitar licks. Strange you may think, that he saves his best work for a piece that in the end isn't entirely his, but at the same time, this is proving that there are still some musicians who simply don't care about the commercial side of things, and who are more than happy to lay down some epic tuneage no matter what the occasion. sweet stuff.
